The final major update to ALPEN GHOUL: Prologue, from this point on all future work on ALPEN GHOUL ( besides potential bug fixes ) will be dedicated to the full game. I hope you are excited to see what we have planned. 

So why is this a major update?

Well, we added an entire new mode to the game called "SKI FREAK". 

Before I get into what this mode is about, I want to start by saying that there are no unlockables or extra content hidden in this mode. It's just for fun.

SKI FREAK Mode:

NO DEATHS. NO RESPAWNS. NO SAVES. You have one shot to get to the exit, if you die it's back to the start. Progress in this mode will not overwrite your current progress in the normal game, so boot it up whenever you want to have a spooky good time. At the end of a run you will be scored on how fast you beat it, how many tapes are in your collection, and how many gold trophies you picked up. Only the best runners, hiders, and sliders will be able to collect everything in one run. Challenge your friends, or challenge yourself. Getting everything in one go is EXTREMELY difficult, but it IS possible if you know the mountain, and have nerves of steel. Not for everyone, but we hope someone out there enjoys this level of challenge. 

Major elements of the mountain have been changed as well. We don't plan to update this version of the mountain any further so if you want to speedrun ALPEN GHOUL, future updates shouldn't invalidate your run.

We also added the ability to delete all your game data if you're into that.

A steam version of the game is coming as well. It will be identical to this version and also FREE.
