AKA the yeti nerf. 

Read lots of feedback. Watched lots of YouTube playthroughs. Pondered for hours. I have reached a conclusion... the yeti is too fast. 

Version 12 has a slightly slower monster. He still wont be a pushover, but you should have a little more time to flail about before you get grabbed.  

Feedback on this game is going to be considered for future projects.
